Some ideas for Fireworks

The dragon Rebirth´s idea

A first phase imagining a scene where these first VFX ideas would be seen in context.

I tested different ways to create a fire FX.
The first is the simplest form, which is basically 2 quads scrolling a texture, a glow particle that blinks and another texture that scrolls in a mesh to represent the sparks.
The second idea is particles, they are no longer static meshes. These particles also use a material that scrolls a texture with a mask, but I play with the speeds so that at one moment, the fire is "calm" and at a certain moment it begins to move on the X axis to communicate the sensation of something erratic. or a little wind.
And in the last one I definitely wanted to use a flipbook. I worked on this in Unity but for testing purposes I used the Unreal flipbook that comes in Starter Content.
The second video is about Fireworks. Here I mostly did a research seeing some videos of real fireworks and tried to replicate them in Unity.
The third video has to do with a proposal for a REBIRTH of a dragon. After this exploration I had to move on to another project so I couldn't continue polishing or proposing ideas :D

Ohhh, I also forgot, in the first phase, at the beginning of this research, I was doing a scene where you could see the firepits, the dragon and how it emitted its firebreath and burned certain objects. I was still in a phase of searching for ideas, but I think it was going well.
