UNREAL 5.6 - Horizon Black Hole inspiration

This is a video of my Horizon Black Hole ability from Apex Legends work. I did it in Unreal Engine 5.6.

In this video, I'm switching from the 2DFX flipbook practice I did for testing in Unity 3D to the study I've been working on with Horizon Gravity Lift and the Black Hole ability from Apex Legends in Unreal Engine 5.6.

The main goal remains the same: to move from Unity 3D to Unreal. I'm a Unity 3D native, so it's always a good idea to practice with another engine 🤓

In the video, you can see a free level from the Epic Games Store and Murdock, a Paragon character. I've been working on the character and level Blueprints to implement and test the Niagara's. I still need to polish some elements and add others.
It's been fun researching Blueprint nodes and testing Niagara in-game.

Now the challenge will be adding elements to the VFX like Embergen simulations. I've never used the program before, but the idea is always to learn something new 🙌
